希拉蕊：太平洋夠大 容得下中美兩國

    即將卸任的美國國務卿「希拉蕊」，日前在一場被視為「告別演說」的場合中表示，太平洋夠大，美國歡迎中國崛起。

    希拉蕊在談到錯綜複雜的中美關係時表示，太平洋大得足夠容下中美兩國，而且中美之間已經建立了具有足夠廣度與彈性的關係，因此美國歡迎，而且會持續歡迎中國崛起。

    希拉蕊說，中美正試著就一個老問題，想要回答出一個新答案，就是當一個老牌強國，遇到一個新興強國時，會有什麼結果。希拉蕊說，當她提出這個想法之後，馬上就被許多中國高層領導人拿來引用。希拉蕊強調，中美關係是獨特、重要而又複雜的，雙方如何互動，勢必會「定義」許多雙方共同的未來議題。
